Our members work in over 50 essential roles that keep schools safe, welcoming, and running every day—supporting students, staff, and classrooms behind the scenes and on the front lines. We stand for fair working conditions, strong public schools, and respect for the vital work support staff do.

  • Injuries can occur immediately from an incident or develop over time…
  • Dangerous Occurrences are incidents that do not result in, but could have resulted in, a fatality or serious bodily injury.
  • Near misses are unplanned events that do not result in an injury or damage but had the potential to do so.

Please also note that if you sustain an injury or seek medical attention, you are required to complete a WCB claim form.
